Fine Raccoon - Oaxacan Alebrije Wood Carving

Masterpiece raccoon alebrije wood carving by the Sosa family. This exceptional large piece was carved out of copal wood which was sourced in the fields surrounding the family workshop. The painting was done with the distinctive Sosa style which incorporates Zapotec patterns and bright colors. A great piece of Mexican folk art.
