Large Masterpiece Coyote - Oaxacan Alebrije Wood Carving

This fantastic coyote was hand carved out of a single large piece of copal wood by the Sosa family at their workshop in Oaxaca, Mexico. The Sosa family pieces are quite unique and really stand out for the level of detail they have which always incorporate intricate patterns inspired by the ancient Zapotec culture. This piece is exceptionally large and would make a great centerpiece to bing color to any room. A great piece of Mexican folk art.
